Happy Birthday ad hoc labels ...

Today my baby turned 10. Ten! He's in double figures.

And to celebrate we had a special birthday lunch at a sushi bar close to Mr B's office, and then he and Emi headed off to Brick 2015, where they appear to have passed a very happy afternoon indulging in one of their greatest shared passions ... Lego!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I've been busy wrapping Christmas presents. I ran out of parcel labels to match my wrapping paper and improvised with these:

They were super easy-peasy to make. I had some cheap, plain, brown parcel labels, some card-making stamps, parcel twine and, Bob's your uncle, I had labels that didn't look too bad.

I'm really keen on plain brown wrapping paper these days. I love dressing it up with ribbon. Emi was given a lovely present by one of his friends, which had been wrapped in hand-stamped brown paper with a matching parcel label - so simple; so chic! I'd show you a photo, but I wasn't quick enough off the draw before it got demolished.

All the best for now,

Bonny x
