Cosy wool for chilly days ...

It's been really cold here in London, and I've been keeping cosy inside with some lovely new wool. Fancy a peak?

Oh, okay. I'm never hard to persuade when it comes to showing off my yarn collection.
Feast your eyes on my Buttered Caramel: it looks good enough to eat!

It really is the squidgiest, softest yarn.

Remember a little while ago I made this Aran Cowl ?

I loved the artroom-floor colour effect of that yarn. And I really, really appreciate my cowl in this cold weather. Well this new wool would knit up to the same tension, and the colour is much more versatile in terms of what it will match harmoniously with. I'm more of a clash-it-and-be-damned sort myself, but, just saying ... if you were into wearing clothes that matched, this baby would be right up your street. The tones are all syrup and caramel with splashes of butter and a hint of cream: just the thing to get you through the final grey bleakness of winter; much better than comfort eating!

It's also available in  Heather Mist, a wonderful purple colour that would be perfect for those in-between days in Spring when Winter hasn't quite released its icy grip.

It's calling out to me to make it into a nice cosy cardigan that would look wonderful with blue denim. There are splashes of denim and grey that would look great blue jeans.

All the best for now. Happy knitting ... and stay warm!

Bonny x
