Fibre East

We're going to Fibre East!

Come and join us! I'd love to see you there. You can find us in the Romney Marquee.

Held at the Redborne School and Community College, Ampthill, Bedfordshire, MK45 2NU on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July 2016, Fibre East will cover everything woolly from the sheep to the wool to the finished articles all knit-up, crocheted and felted to yarny perfection. It promises to be a great day out for all the family. You can check out the website here: Fibre East

You'll have a chance to trace the story to its source - with a number of sheep attending to show us exactly where it all starts. There will be displays of spinning and weaving, great workshops and the chance to browse top suppliers and artisans for everything that fibre-fans could possibly want.

Costa Brava Knitting will be showcasing its own-label collection of splatter-dyed Merino and Bamboo Yarns, together with a collection of organic cotton in all the shades of summer. Made-up garments will be on display to show how beautifully the yarns knit up, and I will be doing demonstrations. We’ll also bring a wall of photos to showcase the magical scenery of the Costa Brava, where our holiday guests enjoy spa-hotel accommodation and pampering, knitting workshops and excursions to see the very best that the area has to offer.

All the best for now,

Bonny x
